JMA Consultants Inc. (JMAC) was founded in 1942 as the consulting arm of the Japan Management Association (JMA), a nonprofit organization established with government support to improve management efficiency in Japanese industry. Today, JMAC is recognized as Japan’s first and oldest management consulting firm.
For more than 80 years, JMAC has played an important role in strengthening the competitiveness of Japanese organizations and supporting the country’s economic growth. In 1980, JMA’s consulting business was spun off to establish JMAC as a company dedicated to providing comprehensive management consulting services.

In 2008, JMA Consultants Inc. established JMA Consultants (Thailand) Co., Ltd. to provide consulting to Japanese companies operating in Thailand and other countries, as well as Thai and ASEAN organizations pursuing transformation and innovation across multiple dimensions.
